Request for Permission to Distribute ASCD ProductsASCD Distributor Terms
The distributor discount is based on the retail/list price (i.e., the nonmember price in the Online Store and in ASCD printed materials). The distributor discount cannot be combined with other discounts, such as quantity discounts.
A signed agreement is required before a distributor may resell and/or advertise ASCD products in a catalog or any other promotional material. All distributors receive an ASCD Distributor ID Number that should be used for placing orders, as well as a Password for placing orders through the Online Store. A form to request permission to distribute ASCD products is available.
ASCD must be listed as the publisher on any promotional material. Attribution is considered when your contract is renewed.
Distributor Orders
If your company does not use purchase orders, the order must be on company letterhead. There are several ways to order:

Online
Visit the Online Store at http://shop.ascd.org. Distributors must log in with their Distributor ID Number and Password in order for the distributor discount to be recognized when placing orders online.
Phone
Call the ASCD Service Center at 800-933-ASCD (2723) or 703-578-9600, then press 2. Please have your Distributor ID Number and payment information ready when you call.
Fax
Send orders to Attn: Service Center at 1-703-575-5407 or to ASCD Service Center at
703-575-5400.

Mailed orders take additional time for ASCD to receive. Please consider placing your order by phone, fax, or through the Online Store.
Minimum Order Requirements
Distributors are expected to adhere to the following minimum order requirements: 20 copy minimum for each ASCD book title per order, 5 copy minimum for each ASCD audio title per order, 10 copy minimum for each ASCD CD-ROM title per order, and 2 copy minimum for each ASCD video program title per order.
Payment
Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of materials and invoice from ASCD. We accept checks, money orders, purchase orders, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express).
Returns
ASCD is under no obligation to accept the return of materials covered under your agreement unless the materials are damaged in shipment from ASCD.
Shipping Rates and Taxes
Please note: The rates included on the Shipping Rates, and Tax charts are for orders that ship via regular UPS ground service. Expedited shipping is available via UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3-day Select. For FedEx orders, you must provide your company's FedEx account number for billing. For expedited shipments, ASCD will charge a $3.00 handling fee and a $6.00 rush fee in addition to UPS and FedEx charges. Please call the ASCD Service Center at
